Kano State Commissioner for Works, Engr. Marwan Ahmed Aminu has commended the state governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf for his giant stride in the infrastructural development initiative within a couple of three years and few months now in the state.
He said no government even in the history of the state had neared the achievements of Governor Yusuf in his stewardship of the state in the infrastructural development just within the review period.
He said the governor’s administration was unmatchable and unique when the issue of infrastructural upgrading, repositioning of the state’s economy and absolute cohesiveness in the State House, the seat of power.
According to the commissioner, the state under the leadership of Governor Yusuf, has greatly changed, adding that transformation was catching up on the other towns and the communities in the state.
He said the state now was witnessing a huge construction of projects with new roads, building and other projects, doting the landscape and cutting across virtually all the sectors of the state economy.
Engr. Aminu explained that because of his unwavering commitment toward providing equatable, responsive, dependable and results-oriented transformation service to the people of the state, the name of the governor was on the lips of most people at home and beyond.
He said the achievements of Governor Yusuf within his this period comprised of re-validation of abundantly viable and beneficial project such us; Jakara Kwarin Gogau River covered sewage conduit/road, construction of 5km dual road projects across 44 local government areas, reopening of 26 entrepreneurship training institutes abandoned by the immediate past administration, renovation of Hasiya Bayero Pediatric Hospital, ongoing works at the historic Bela Hospital, construction and renovation of numerous metropolitan roads among others.
The commissioner urged the people of the state to vote for Governor Yusuf in the upcoming 2027 general elections in order to move the state to a greater height.
