The Office of the Head of Civil Service, Kano State, wishes to draw the attention of the general public, civil servants, and all stakeholders to a fake circular currently circulating on various social media platforms and other channels titled “Suspension of Salary Payment to Persons Irregularly Enrolled into the State Payroll.” With Ref, no, HCS/LEV/2/1.Dated 19th June,2026.
This was containing in statement signed by the Director Public enlightenment Rukayya Uba Sulaimain and made available to Journalists.
The statement said “This Office wishes to categorically state that the purported circular did not originate from the Office of the Head of Civil Service and is therefore false, misleading, and should be disregarded in its entirety.
The management further clarifies that the said document was not signed or issued by the Director, Administration and General Services (DAGS) or any authorized officer of the Office of the Head of Civil Service.
The use of the Director’s name and designation in the fake document is fraudulent and intended to mislead members of the public.
Members of the public and the entire civil service are advised to disregard the fake circular and refrain from sharing or acting upon its contents.
Official communications from the Office of the Head of Civil Service are always issued through recognized and verified channels.
The office also calls on the relevant security agencies to investigate the source of the false document and bring those responsible to justice in accordance with the law.
The Office of the Head of Civil Service remains committed to transparency, due process, and the dissemination of accurate information regarding matters affecting the Kano State Civil Service.
For authentic information, the public is encouraged to rely only on official communications issued by the Office of the Head of Civil Service.
